Espinoza Carvajal Arquitectos – UEPM
Institutional Wayfinding System

The Project & Collaboration
The studio developed a comprehensive signage and wayfinding system for the Unidad Educativa Particular Marista (UEPM), designed as an integral layer to the architectural project executed by Espinoza Carvajal Arquitectos. The primary objective was to organize the spatial information of the new educational complex through a clear, functional, and intuitive visual language.

Design Strategy: Modular Information
In close coordination with the architectural team, the studio defined traffic flows, nomenclature, and the categorization of academic blocks, classrooms, offices, and common areas. The proposal was built upon a modular system that integrates custom iconography, color coding, and typography. This system operates across multiple communication levels: orientational, directional, identification, and decorative signage.

Integration & Global Recognition
The result is a signage system that merges harmoniously with the architecture, facilitating user circulation and reinforcing the educational environment's identity. Due to its iconographic precision and systematic approach, this project was featured in "Iconism: Icons and Pictograms," a renowned international book on professional icon design.
